Meet Our Staff

2's Teacher, Toddler & Me

My name is Debbie Rossi and I have been the 2's and Toddler and Me teacher since 2017. I have over 30 years of teaching experience. I started my career teaching 2's and Toddler and Me. I have come full circle. Most of my experience is teaching PreK 4 at a school in Paramus.

On a personal level, I was born and raised in central Indiana and currently reside in Park Ridge, New Jersey. My husband and I met while attending Kentucky Wesleyan University. After we married we moved to New Jersey. We raised our two children in River Edge. I am a proud grandmother of 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. They call me "Mimi." My hobbies are reading, going to the beach, and playing board games. For exercise I love walking and doing Zumba.

3's Teacher, S.T.E.M.

Hi my name is Christine Smith and I have been a part of Rainbow Corners for over 15 years. Prior to my time here as a teacher, I was a co-op parent who served on the board as registrar. It was during this time that I fell in love with our school and decided to stay so that I could be a part of this wonderful community! I have lived in Waldwick for 20 years with my husband and two daughters, Erin and Lily.  Both of my daughters attended Rainbow Corners where they grew and thrived. They still talk about how fun preschool was! I look forward to a fun and exciting year working with you and your child as they grow and learn.

4's Teacher, Kindergarten Readiness, Rainbow Club

This is my third year teaching the 4's at Rainbow Corners and my fifth year teaching at the preschool level.  I'm a certified teacher, having received my degree from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. I taught at the elementary level for 8 years before taking time off to be a stay at home mom to my four children.  During that time, I was heavily involved in my school communities PTO and remain active today. I live in Wyckoff with my husband and four children. I get to come to work and am able to sing, dance, and laugh everyday.  Thank you for sharing your children with me.

Director of RCNS

Annie Cullen graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a BFA in visual arts and thereafter has been active in the arts. After completing her studies at Lincoln Center, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she undertook a museum studies program at Harvard University. The completion of the Harvard University coursework enabled her to pursue work in the areas of art history and museum education. Mrs. Cullen had the pleasure of working with kindergarten through twelfth graders at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, as a museum educator. After working in the museum for a few years, Mrs. Cullen earned her masters at Hunter College in childhood education (1-6). In recent years, this study was extended to include early childhood education (birth- 2nd grade).

Annie has written curriculum and taught enrichment art programs in New York City.  Before moving to New Jersey she taught preschool at a Montessori school in NYC, and for several years taught Pre-K4 at St. Barnabas Elementary School in the Bronx.   Three years ago, Annie and her family moved onto a new adventure, moving from the Bronx to Hawthorne, NJ. Her own son attended Rainbow Corners when he was three! Annie is very excited to join the amazing team of teachers and parents at Rainbow Corners.
