Our Philosophy is that children learn and develop through active play, since “play’ is a child’s work. Our goal is to develop a child’s self image so that they feel they are competent to learn and grow.

RCNS provides a stimulating environment in which children can explore, create and learn about themselves, their peers and their world. Small classes enable our staff to discover your child's unique abilities.

A cooperative nursery school is a school setting that allows parents the opportunity participate in their child's first school experience.

RCNS co-op parents regularly serve as helpers in their children's classes once a month. This gives them the chance to observe their child's social and emotional growth over the course of the year.  The nursery school is governed by an Executive Board consisting of parents of currently enrolled students

Non-cooperative positions are also available for parents unable
to work in the classroom.
